Minds Eye Concepts is seeking a technically brilliant, slightly obsessive (in a good way) DBA to help architect and maintain the backbone of a dynamic ecosystem that connects customers, clients, and workforce participants through performance-driven engagement.

You’ll be the steward of structured sanity in a world of creative chaos. From designing scalable schemas that support real-time recognition events, to optimizing ETL pipelines that feed our machine learning models, your fingerprints will be all over the intelligence layer of a platform that understands people, performance, and potential.

• Attend weekly status meetings.
• Provide daily updates on progress.
• Report any blockers or issues immediately.
• Collaborate with UX, and backend development team and UX Design as needed.

You will have discretion in deciding what issues and assignments to prioritize. You will manage plans and schedules and keep track of how your team is meeting objectives and targets.

• Architect relational and non-relational data models that scale like ambition
• Build and maintain secure, high-performance data. (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.)
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless data flow
• Design ETL pipelines that transform raw engagement into actionable insight
• Support ML engineers with clean, labeled datasets that don’t make them cry
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot like a data ninja with a sixth sense for latency
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical standards
• External Data Sources, Ingestion, Kafka
• Transformation, dbt, Spark, Airflow
• Storage, DuckDB, Postgres
• Analytics UI Superset
• ML Models, MLFlow,
• Internal Ops, Ad Insights

• Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Experience with cloud-native databases and distributed systems
• Familiarity with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.) and data warehousing
• A love for clean schemas, normalized tables, and well-documented logic
• Bonus points if you’ve ever argued passionately about indexing strategies
• Even more bonus points if you’ve won that argument
